Local charity Ups ‘n’ Downs were delighted to welcome Britain’s Got Talent Finalist, Danny Posthill to their 2017 Charity Dinner held at Wicksteed Park Pavilion on Saturday September 30th.
Danny’s hilarious impressions left an audience of more than 200 guests in stitches as he delivered a first class act that saw him get to the final of the ITV series in 2015. Danny stayed on to the end of the evening, mixing with guests and keeping everyone superbly entertained.
The seventh annual dinner hosted by the charity was well supported by local business this year with estate agents Lane & Holmes and the county’s largest independent builders merchant Hevey contributing significantly to the total funds raised on the evening.
Over £8,000 was made on the evening which will go a long way in underpinning the activities of the charity in their support of families affected by Downs Syndrome in Northamptonshire in 2018.
