The annual UpsnDowns Dinner is our most high-profile event. This annual fundraiser helps raise a significant sum of money for the charity. We have been very fortunate in the past to welcome sports stars such as Alan Shearer, Dennis Wise, and Paul Merson, plus film and television stars such as Allen Leech and Rob James Collier.
There are other fundraising events throughout the year that offer sponsorship opportunities too, such as; ‘Riding for UpsnDowns’ which last year attracted over 100 riders from all over the country.
UpsnDowns will ensure that through PR and Social Media your business and brand is given significant recognition and promotion, and likewise through your own PR you can endorse your support to a local Northamptonshire charity and help us raise awareness.
We always welcome new local business sponsors in Northamptonshire and beyond to support our work.
Workplace and Employee Fundraising
Fundraising for a charity as a business can be so much fun. No matter how big or small your business, we would love to hear from you if you think you can help and support UpsnDowns.
Here are a few ideas you could use for your workplace fundraising:
- Cake sale, coffee morning, pudding club
- Sponsored walk, run or cycle sportive
- Annual Sports Quiz
- Dress down/Dress up day or colourful socks day to support World Down’s syndrome Day, which takes place on 21st March each year
Feel free to come up with your own great ideas and UpsnDowns will support you and promote your fundraiser.
One of our members recently sold burgers and sausage baps in their work place and raised £400. This fantastic amount raised will cover our annual ‘Sing and Sign’ costs. Amazing!
