Hello, my name is Karen and I live in Kettering with my husband Christian, daughter Maddie and son Dylan.  Dylan was born with Down’s syndrome and it was through his arrival that my journey began with UpsnDowns.

I am one of the original founders of the charity which was formed in 2006, the year Dylan was born.  I feel privileged to have been a part of Upsndowns since it began and to see how it has flourished over the last 12 years.

I work full time as a Paediatric Sleep Practitioner supporting children with a broad range of disabilities and I am also a qualified Portage Visitor.
